Can too much content harm SEO?

It based on your content quality. You can use high-quality content it will harm

As long as the content is 100% unique and relevant to your money site, it won't affect your rank. But if you spilt your content 1000 words per page/article, you can have posibilites to focus more keyword rather having all in one content. In addition, don't publish all together to rank better.

No it won't, but make sure you can update the blog regularly after that. This is important.

If your content is unique and clean (no porn, no casino, no gambling) it will be ok. Make sure your backlinks are good too

Yes, it all depends on your niche. Just for the sake of show case or generic advice will neither make interest nor ranking. Instead you can make a guide made out of ten articles. Traffic is vanity metric sales matter the most.

There is absolutely not harm seo, as long as the content that is made is related, informative and original, of course also unique

As long as you publish quality content relevant to your niche, it is good for SEO.
Of course, content must value to readers.

5,000 words means 20,000 words a month. It is not a lot of content.

To be honest, even if you publish a 100,000 words a month. It would be only to the good. There is nothing as too much content.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick question: I'm on my way to start creating content for my money site, and I'm planning around 5,000 words a week (I have a copywriter). Would this be too much content and harm SEO, or would it make me rank faster? The content will be all very high quality.

I've worked on projects doing 10k words a day.

It won't harm, just make sure you post the articles regularly every day, it'll be way better.

I believe, according to the seo principles, that having to many pages/posts without backed by external backlinks will have a negative impact on the rankings.

Because, each new page/post will take some page rank, some call it page juice, from its domain, in order to rank, which, therefore, real high-DA websites tend to rank its pages without any backlinks.

This means, unless the page/post you create adds no value to your website, why waste page rank?

Thank you everyone for the answers! The content will be very useful. In fact, I need that much content to be written every week, as it is an informative site and there's so much to be written for my niche. So I won't force cannibalised content, but it will be literally genuine content that users will be interested in. So I'm glad to hear that it will help SEO.

Thank you again everyone!

No way, too much Content is what Google wants. If you can do 5000 words per week, then you are lucky. All you need to do is to ensure the Content you are providing is High Quality and targeted. By targeted I mean, you should do your keyword research and make sure you are producing Content that people want to read—not just filling your hosting space with irrelevant stuff.

Too much content will not harm your SEO unless it is not relevant content to your prospects. If it is relevant and it has all the keywords then ti will not matter how much it is. The only problem you are going to face is how to get more content ever time since you are already using a lot of content.
