Because all those links are spam (99.99% guarantee!). So at some point this website had 42 000 ref domains and then they dropped to 6800? How is this even possible? Ill tell you how - when you use GSA or similar software to create 30 million links in comments, forums etc, that got deleted at some point be the webmasters. So this domain/website is most likely pure crap worth nothing. Google understand that and rank it accordingly..

Maybe it's analyzing the traffic from certain locale that doesn't have traffic. I don't use Ahrefs for this topic, but for example in Semrush, if you put a different locale that the page actually is, you will see 0 traffic, despite it might have a lot in the adequate one.

Ahrefs is not retarded like Semrush and show you the total traffic first, you have to select the country in order to see local traffic.

It might be due to the irrelevant link. Your referring domain are too much so it is impossible that you don't have ranking. you should nee focus on your webmaster stats.,

check the domain if slash at the end is left or not
example good: www.domain.com
bad: www.domain.com/

you missed the part "for which the target ranks across all countries in pour database"
The traffic ahref shows in overview is OVER ALL TRAFFIC from ALL countries

Dude that is what I said for Ahrefs.. it shows you all the traffic first. Semrush is retarded by not doing it.

Anyway Semrush is annoying! You put the website there, shows you US be default (almost) 0 traffic. Then you start a guess game from where the website have traffic... Is it New Zealand? Nope. Maybe Canada? Nope. Hmm oh it's Zimbabwe and Kenya.... Yet I won against the idiocy of semrush, again.

There are a few possible reasons:
1. Penalized by Google at some point
2. Was down (nxdomain) for quite a while and bought and resurrected just a few days ago
3. Redirects to another domain (is the website indexed in Google?)
4. You're checking the http version while the website moved to https say 1 month ago and all its ranking pages are https.
5. You're checking the www version while now all the pages use the non-www URL (while the backlinks still point at the www- URLs)
But if you're absolutely sure that the website is getting good traffic from search, check (4) and (5)
