Hello,

As per the supject, could somebody advise good, reliable (ideally not very expensive) VPS hosting?

Thanks

i got servint right now
no problems so far (almost 1 month) and the support is amazing so far

Need more info..do you want Windows, Linux, what do you want to do with it, etc..

I know how to manage windows. Linux is fine if it has cPanel. I need it to host several sites and to run cronjobs for checking PR, index info, etc. for a lot of sites.

Any feedback on 1 and 1? How quick and good their support as they do not have a live one?

I use them for over one year cs-squad.net/?id=vps

1.5Ghz CPU (Guaranteed)
1GB RAM (Guaranteed)
50GB Disk Space
1TB Monthly Bandwidth
2 IP Addresses
OpenVZ With vePortal
Multiple Choices Of Linux OS
Price: $10/Month or $100/Year

I read that hostgator VPSs are very slow. Is this the case?

Has any body used vps.net?

that could be funny , but i'm using namecheap VPS 3 days ago , it look good till now^but i think i'll go for vpsland.com

linode is good... but it is raw and u gotta know your stuff :)

avoid their dallas dc if possible, been having problem lately....

I used to use vpsland's windows VPS and I had to move away from them as I had to restart my container daily, because it was not responding. Then a year later I tried them again and with no luck too.

I personally will not go there again.

I've used Veeble Web Solutions for over 5 months now and they are excellent when compared with the other cheap VPS hosting I have used.

vps.net - excellent but expensive.
intovps.com - cheap and good
santrex.net - many locations
damnvps.com - uk
nordicvps.com - germany

i use wiredtree - check on webhostingtalk dot com in the offer section for good deals. fully managed with cpanel/whm, root access and they have phone and email support. Never waited more that 2 minutes on phone support and +- 1-5 minutes on email support +- 50$

been with them for +- 7 months

I've had a liquidweb VPS for nearly 3 years. Support is very good and quick. Not the cheapest but they are quality.

Huge fan of KnownHost. Excellent support, servers are quick and can be had starting at $25 month.

I am deciding between wiredtree and vps.net now. I see that quite a few use wiredtree. Final advice about these two would be very much appreciated.

I haven't ever used managed hosting yet. Can I ask them e.g. to configure my domains and install WP there as this would save me huge amount of time?
