Like the title says i am confused with it but i know it redirects links
bc i am trying to put some ads on fb but they wont let me use the link i want and my brother told me to use a cloaker so???

Cloaking is the art of showing different content to different viewers.

As you can tell from that simple definition, it can be used for good and it can also be used for even MORE good $$$.

So like for example I can show fb some thing different but when people click on my link it will show them what i want them to see?

It's usually used to hide (cloak) affiliate links. You can use link shortened such as bitly or tinyurl (not recommended) to cloak or buy a domain and redirect it to your affiliate link.

so i can buy a domain and use the cloaker and lets say i put that domain on my fb ad but once they click on the ad it takes them to the domain and then redirects them to my affilate link?

Cloaking is used for promoting offers which are against TOS.
Cloaker directs reviewers to "clean" page/blog post and normal visitors to "dirty" offer/ad.

Cloaking is a technique used to deliver the content on a Web page to a search engine in such a way that different content than what is delivered to a regular human user appears on the search engine. The goal of cloaking is to boost a website's search engine rank on certain keywords.

In cloaking, the search engine and the user are literally not on the same page. Therefore, both the user and the search engine are being deceived.
