I was doing some research on why one of my sites could have been sandboxed and suspected that a group of about 15 back links gave it the boot.

I tried this on a couple of useless blogspot blogs that I have and sure enough, one hit the sandbox a week later and one was de indexed.

These back links will take about 1 hour to create at the most. My question is - if it was so easy to get into the sandbox, wouldn't widespread sabotage be common. You can spend 5 hours and knock 5 competitors out with this method!!!

I am obviously not going to share the nature of the back links because it is not something I do on competitors and would not want anybody else doing it on me.

But I have been in the sandbox for a couple of months and I am pretty sure it is because of this. The blogspot blogs that I purposefully sandboxed have also been out for a month.

I never knew Goolge could be so harsh on just a few back links.

Why don't you go sandbox google to try out your theory?

Come on man - I am obviously not talking about established sites but those that are ranking for not so important keywords in the eyes of Google. I should have mentioned they are fairly new sites as well.

I have a site that I blasted like crazy - straight to it no 301 redirect and I have no sandbox bullshit :D

I use xrumer and scrapebox on it 24/7.

What kind of backlinks are you talking about.. They must be from highly offensive sites that Google hates.. otherwise there is no way only 15 backlinks can get a site sandboxed..

if you get booted by 15 backlinks something is wrong with your site

if i use something like Xgenseo do u suppose G, or y, and msn or those sites would sandbox according to time intervals of submissions.. im fairly new to bookmarking etc..

Unless these 15 backlinks are all on Al Qaeda blogs, there's no way you were penalized for them.

I'm 90% sure that I know what you're talking about. Those links will get you sandboxed if you use the wrong.

they are all from high pr, high traffic sites that are perfectly legal. that is what is depressing about it. anyways, forget about this thread because I can't really share the actual links and structure..........

Are you saying you can spam a link to a redirect site that goes to your main site and Google wont catch on?

How effective is this?

If that was true you could start your own service for hire to sandbox competitors and get rich.

Too bad it isn't.
