Can rewritten PLR article rank?

I've done 4 content and 1 outsource content. Takes a lot of time, mental energy and money.
I was thinking if I can purchase PLR content and rewrite them would be much easier.
Do you guys think this will still work in 2020?

It could work but it's not my style.
