Can Reddit flag your website?

I have my own website where I sell digital products. Everything went well for a year, but then after the recent crackdown, all my accounts got banned. Now I bought an high karma account, warmed it up for two weeks and then I tested to post a post with a link to the website at the bottom, and shortly after "server error" In other words, they nuked my account.

So have they started flagging specific website URLs now?

Yeah, Reddit has been flagging specific domains more aggressively lately, especially those linked to digital products or repeated promotions. Even high karma accounts won’t protect you if the domain itself is flagged. You can check if your URL is blacklisted by posting it in a random subreddit and seeing if it gets auto-removed instantly. One way around it is cloaking with a clean buffer site before redirecting to your main domain. Also, using mobile proxies helps if your accounts keep getting flagged, since Reddit tracks IP patterns too.

I know how to use proxies, so the issue isn't there.

But thanks for the confirmation. Reddit is officially dead for me. Luckily, I'm not dependent on it, but it did contribute to 20 percent of the income.
 
Yes when the domain is flagged then Reddit may ban all accounts that post the link.
 
yes you got to be careful cause they will keep banning all account posting the same links
 
Definitely, you can use redirects and try to detect Reddit spiders so they don't get redirected
 
Reddit is super strict, try redirects through a new domain and see if that works
 
Do you use paypal to recieve the payment?

You're talking to the king of black hat here. Haha in all seriousness, I very much doubt it'll be an issue. But it depends on what you want to accomplish with the main site. You trying to rank on Google or simply use reddit for traffic?

For this it will mainly be to get Reddit traffic. But Reddit traffic is nowhere near as valuable as SEO traffic, so I definitely won't trade one for the other.

It's quite possible. You need to look for workarounds and test different methods, including those suggested by others above
 
Yes, your URL is probably blacklisted. As a solution, you can use URL shorteners like Bit.ly, redirect to a new domain, or redirect people from your profile instead of sharing links directly.
