Can Paypal detect you are using virtual machine?

Paypal is very strict towards its Indian Customers only. in other countries you can do any thing with paypal.
I've never seen a VPS which is a residential one. Do you know where to get one?

He said "industrial area (eg. popular data centers)" like Texas or California. There is no such thing as a residential VPS.
Give us exactly what kind of setup you have created. I have been accessing a certain PP account using VirtualBox + commercial VPN for ages, and while
tons of services didn't allowed me to use them, PP didn't have any problems with that. They have detected me through VPN IPs.
The most primitive way PP can detect you is by counting your cores: people usually create a VM with one core and single core processors are really rare these days.
Your next obstacle is your IP, so if you want to be on the safe side, use VM created at home.
that is sad. Because I can't buy gift cards using vpn. And probably it is because the ip is not residential. But I don't know.

Shouldn't have any problems. I am using my own PC to access one oh and its from EU with US proxy (which should give you a clear answer I think).

Dunno on a virtual machine you don't have a mac address, ofc yoy can emulate them but its not that legit, the question is what info paypal is scrapping,, do they really care about mac address? I think as far you do no anything stupid there won't be a problem

Do any one here think paypal can know you are using ssh, vps or software antivirus you are using

Yes, they can but only under certain circumstances. Most of the ideas how they do it are wrong though. One such example is that PayPal can see your MAC address. It can't.
I am not an expert but I think MAC address is only used in local networks. It is funny how people worry about things which won't affect their paypal but ignore really important things. I've heard some people even uninstall bios or windows lol.
You can't even start a computer without bios lol
The only way a website could get your MAC address is through a very sensitive browser exploit, and as soon as it's found it would get fixed.
