I've never seen a VPS which is a residential one. Do you know where to get one?If your vps is located in an industrial area (eg. popular data centers), then yes they can... Shouldn't be a problem though.

I was wondering if paypal can detect if you are using a virtual machine, and how
that is sad. Because I can't buy gift cards using vpn. And probably it is because the ip is not residential. But I don't know.He said "industrial area (eg. popular data centers)" like Texas or California. There is no such thing as a residential VPS.

I am not an expert but I think MAC address is only used in local networks. It is funny how people worry about things which won't affect their paypal but ignore really important things. I've heard some people even uninstall bios or windows lol.Yes, they can but only under certain circumstances. Most of the ideas how they do it are wrong though. One such example is that PayPal can see your MAC address. It can't.
