Zcash is most likely to be controlled by someone else, but not by it's original developers now. So, it's only monero right now.In my opinion, Monero has the potential to replace Bitcoin in the long term.
Bitcoin is no longer truly anonymous and is subject to strict regulations.
Monero and Zcash are the only major cryptocurrencies that are currently still truly anonymous and can practically never be regulated.
Essentially, Monero is today what Bitcoin was in the 2010s.
What do you think about it?
From what I read they rather don't like Monero (see Binance etc.) because Monero transaction cannot be traced; Monero simply has been designed with this in mind. So it is rather doubtful that Moneo could replace Bitcoin completely. USDT maybe?well, with new epstein files showing that bitcoin devs might be controlled by someone, maybe it will be replaced
+ Ai and main technologies probably gonna start to track bitcoin holders soon or later and gonna tax all of them
when this happend? idk, honestly it's a big structure to do all of that, but its already possible, gonna just take some time to build a big AI center and connect all of that with US tax system
But, monero is very slow anyway, idk if it can even handle that amount of transactions, we will see of course.
Monero is far better for privacy, but replacing Bitcoin is unlikely—Bitcoin dominates as a regulated store of value, while Monero fills a niche as censorship-resistant private money. In my opinion, Monero has the potential to replace Bitcoin in the long term.

Monero is implementing new update very soon where owner of wallet could provide keys to show his transaction, most likely exchanges gonna just ask for this key if you deposit any crypto on exchange. Of course they woudn't let you use it until monero is too big to not add it on exchanges. And of course they have several goverments who are strict monero from using like EU countries. From what I read they rather don't like Monero (see Binance etc.) because Monero transaction cannot be traced; Monero simply has been designed with this in mind.
