Can i play it safe purchasing links?

Hi, i want to open a website (business) and i want to give it some edge purchasing links but do it slowly and purchasing the right links.

What i had in mind is:
Post 5 blog posts a month
Purchase 5-10 links on the 3rd month ( i feel like to start purchasing links on the 3rd month i would need to have already ordained some manual as well as some nofollow to seem more "natural").
Purchase 10-20 links every month white doing paid activity and continue posting blogs

I plan to do the above for 6 months to 1 year and then i believe i would rank relatively well on my niche

What i want to know is what would be the correct frequecy of buying links (5 a month or 10 or 20?) and what would be considered no 100% safe but the safest types of link i need to get?

I am an SEO last 6 years but i haven't purchased links in last 8 years so is a bit unknown territory. Any help is much appreciated!

You forgot to optimize the On Page. There is no limit to building links, but you should always remember these points in linkbuilding.

• Don't go aggressive linkbuilding.
• Go for niche relevant backlinks
• Diversify your link profile.
• Stay away from spammy sites.
• Always share your content on social media.
