I already have one account monetized for a long time now. It's using text to voice videos. Now, I read somewhere that it's difficult or almost impossible to get approved a new channel with text-to-voice videos. Anyone here got a successful application in Youtube recently? Thanks!

I found this on Quora:

"No, you can't. TTS is seen as programmatically generated, repetitious content, and will not be monetized by YouTube. Better to narrate in your own voice. Animaker Voice, Create free human-like voice overs for your videos! Go to my Profile and you can find all about YouTube Monetization material there..."

Solution maybe:

You can, but I’d would be better if it was text on the screen instead of having text to speech.

Have you tried using text on screen and get monetized?

Yes, you absolutely can monetize text to speech videos.

Once you have your script for your text to speech video you can save it as an MP3 file and you can add this to some software that allows you to embed these audio files into the video and you can set these up for product videos and upload them to YouTube and make sure that you do the correct keyword research to try to find those low hanging fruit type of keywords that will allow you to rank easier but you absolutely can monetize these types of videos.

Nope, I was just trying to help you and gave you 2 different answers with reason.
This types of questions are one of those, "what works for you it might not work for me" :)
So, @bhcg101 says that you can, other people say no.
In my opinion, you should be able to monetize this, but, at the end, you need to test it for yourself and see what's going to happen.

All the best ;)

You mean you can get approved on Youtube's monetization program? Or are you referring to monetization with products?

I was built text to speech channel with home design niche about 2 years ago, and then after reached requirement for monetized, until this time about 6 months didnt have reply from them about approval :(

OpenAi is now creating an upgraded version of this where speech is also modulated with varying tonality.
Normal folks can't figure out the difference.

Elon Musk is killing this project - also go some research around GPT-3

Yes, you can but it depends on the quality of the tts software. It should very close to human-like
