can i kill a mosquito with a laser?

Why would you hunt an animal if you can experience the most heart racing hunt of all : mosquito's
I enjoy hunting mosquito's, its fun.
but times change i get lazy and tired due to work so i need an easier strategy.
I was thinking to get out my mosquito net but then i thought to myself...

what if I bought a strong laser and kill them from a distance, like a sniper.
this way I can enjoy my hunting from my bed.
for some reason, the mosquito's evolved and got 7x times bigger this time so I'm pretty confident that i'll get them.

what laser should i buy for this job?

Laser is really boring - I recently read about the best way to kill a mosquito:
'Psychopath way :

Capture the mosquito alive and do any of the following.

  • Pull out its legs and wings don't pull out its 'proboscis' or it will die quickly
  • Put a Super Glue (like Fevikwik) on its proboscis and let it go. It can't suck blood
  • Put 5-6 mosquitoes in a Glass box and leave a drop of blood in the Glass box .'

fix a strong laser your own , see instructions on youtube and kill them all they are very annoying at summers you will be a hero

Any laser 100mW+ (0.1 Watts) will do the trick, or...
Put a big powerful tesla coil on your roof and watch it zap any mosquito that dares to get close enough.
 
You could use the old Spider-Man technique with man juice.
 
I will get MK 48 with silencer , So I can Catch the rest unaware.
 
Normally I go out of my way to put most bugs and pests outside. In the last year, Mosquito's quickly became the exception to this rule. I locked one in a washing machine yesterday.

I would order one of those little laser tanks right now if they were available.

Some hacker actually took old DVD lasers and hacked those into mosquito killing bots. I remember seeing that guy in a defcon talk but I can't find the link right now. Here's a similar video (pretty sure it's the same guy who made the bot in action in the video) :

Edit 2: Got the video atlast! Sorry it is not defcon talk, but Ted Talk show. The whole presentation is pretty interesting. THe mostquito killing part is around 14:30 in the video..
