Not sure if this is the right forum. if not, please move me.
Ive been looking everywhere for a dropshipper for the category of products i want to sell on my site but haven't been able to find one. The alternative would be to stuff my site (non affiliate site - my legit business with branded products) with affiliate links but i don't think that will convert well and look good on the brand.
The workaround that i was considering is:
- to sign up for the affiliate programs for all the competitive brands i want to sell
- host the full checkout on my site of all the brands
- then go to each of the respective brand pages via an affiliate link and make the purchase with my company cc
- enter the customers info in the shipping address - kind of a ghetto dropship setup
The only factors that i can see are:
1. switching ip's whenever i purchase on the affiliate site - i use a dsl connection so can i just reset every time?
2. offering a different affiliate website when applying to the programs - thinking of creating a duplicate site on a different domain with all the affiliate links
3. somehow fly by without the affiliate admins seeing all my transactions coming form the same cc - don't know how to get past this one
Is there anything else i should be worried about or any other workarounds to consider? possibly a scalable workaround?
