Can i get scrapebox for the Mac??

Hi guys, i was about to purchase Scrapebox as I've heard really good things about it. Only problem is, I've got a Mac and not sure if it works on it?

Please let me know.

How old is your mac? If it's an intel mac, I would strongly recommend using Bootcamp to run Scrapebox. You should already know what Bootcamp is, but you can set it up through the Bootcamp Assistant in mac and it is a way to natively run Windows on a mac. It works very well, and it's how I run Scrapebox on a native Windows 7 installation on my Macbook Pro.

There is no OSX version of Bootcamp, only alternatives that allow Windows programs to run on mac. Aside from Bootcamp, there is Parallels and VirtualBox. Between the two, VirtualBox is better but is still no comparison compared to Bootcamp.
 
Here is what I do so that I can use my Mac without having to load up Windows using Bootcamp, since it kind of defeats the purposes of having a Mac if you have to reboot into Windows. I have PC on my network that runs Windows 7 and have remote desktop enabled. This allows me to connect to that PC and use that PC's resources and little of the resources on my Mac. By the way, trying to run pretty much anything on Windows via VMWare fusion is a complete waste of time. It uses way too much of your systems resources.
 
Where did you buy the VMware Fusion from?
 
+1 for vmware fusion, but keep in mind scrapebox is a memory hog so you'll need lots of ram.

I have a Macbook Pro with 4gb of ram and find VMWare Fusion and Parallels insufficient for what I do with SB. For me, it's been either Bootcamp or VPS if you're running multiple SB instances and hoping to maintain a normal working environment on the rest of the machine.
 
buy scrappebox and get a vps, then you should be able to use it
 
Scrape box is a memory hog? Maybe i should buy a laptop instead?

My Mac runs pretty smooth at the moment...will Bootcamp or VPS slow things down?

Vps won't slow things down a bit, so you can go with that option as for bootcamp, i have never used that before
