My client's website have 2 same pages with same content and images in 1 website. Should I remove 1 page from the website? or what negative will happen if I continue with both the same pages.?
(URL, Content and Images are same on both the pages)

why does he need them 2? Do both of them ranking good on Serp? If they do, merge them.
If they don't have traffic, just remove one of them. It's bad for your website with duplicate contents! Wasting crawling resources and confuse Google.

Client have just created the website. No traffic and no ranking as well.

Add canonical tag to the main page this will help google, but i would still suggest remove the other page.

No, google maybe not consider same content for 2 sites, if you want to rank both the sites you have to write the unique content for both the sited

Website is 1. there are 2 same pages with same URL and content.

Avoid Creating Duplicate Pages this will harm your website else you can just add canonical tags on main page to avoid penalty.

if it has a purpose than you add canonical to prevent duplicate content, if it no purpose just delete it.

URL of the 2 pages is same as well. Should I remove 1 page from the website?
how in god's name, can the url of 2 pages be the same?!

May I suggest to refund the money to your client and figure something else to do for your day time job?

I think you should first ask your client why he needs the two similar pages with the same content and URL before you act. It could be a mistake or maybe it was done on purpose. As the expert however, you should be wise enough to remove one to avoid confusing Google and being treated as duplicate content. Its more like competing with yourself

Hi there,

You should never try this practice as it will be treated as plagiarism. Google has several goals when it comes to search engine rankings. It wants to avoid showing searchers identical content repeated across multiple pages. Most importantly, however, Google wants to give credit to the original creator of the content—in this case, you! Google's algorithms do have some negative consequences for sites that frequently post duplicate content, especially those who don't post fresh content of their own. Sites that steal and recycle content are penalized heavily in terms of search engine ranking.
