Can G00gle detect when the backlink was placed?

I'm wondering if it's possible G00gle can detect "when" backlinks are created on websites. When the spider crawls the site, does it think "hey, this link was placed on MM/DD/YYYY at HH:MM:SS , or does it only think "hey, this link wasn't here last time I crawled, and now it is."


Also, what if I had a 500 page site...
Then I sent 1,000 backlinks to each page except page 500.
So page500.html doesn't have any backlinks at all.

Will that page without backlinks rank high because the rest of the website has backlinks? Or do I have to build backlinks to that individual page to rank it high?

What is most probably is that he only "hey, this link wasn't here last time I crawled, and now it is." since link velocity is not a factor.

And it would be too much data to track all the backlinks.

And yes as you make links for your site you will gain more Domain autorithy and your pages without links will began to rank higher.

Yes, Google knows when the backlink was added. They have a version control system for every page, basically every page they index has history information. You can see this in action with this site (Google majesticseo ) Try entering your URL, it graphs all the backlinks you have over the past year, it knows when links were added, etc. If this small company can do it, just imagine what Google can store about your site...

yess they can detect everything and anything.

and if they aren't detecting it yet sooner or later some bright engineer will add an update to the algorithm to detect it and track it.

Remember, google is constantly tweaking the algorithm to make it better, faster and smarter.

Ultimately in the end, only the legit seo practices will make any difference.
