Can Facebook delete a page by requesting someone who has a page with the same name?

One of my Facebook pages was delete by facebook without any notificaiton. The page was dedicated to cars. Can Facebook delete a page by requesting someone who has a page with the same name?

fb will always send you a message as to what and why it has done so, check your email / spam folders.

Yes you are right. I muissed this email. However there are only general phrases about the alleged violation of something. I will sort this out. Thank you.
