can bitcoin ever collapse

Bitcoin itself is a phenomenon.
It will exist and reach beyond anyone's expectations someday.

One big situation in this world can trigger its rise.
But don't invest something you don't want to hold for minimum 10 years.

Right now it's a traders heaven. As the prices goes up and down like crazy. I wouldn't buy and hodl, i would buy low and sell high, learn the pattern and do some day trading.

Bitcoin price is driven mostly by speculation, there is not an underlying asset or business supporting its value, so if the reasons that drive the speculative moves of the crypto disappear or lose importance, the price will go down. Will it go to zero? Maybe not, but I would not be surprised to see prices going really low in the future because of its lack of intrinsic value.

Bottomline, treat bitcoin for what it is, a speculative investment, which means that you should not have everything bet on it.

The only thing I see reaching beyond anyone's expectation is 51% attacks and exit scams.

This has to be the worst advice one of the worst suggestions i've ever heard on the matter.I think you are taking the whole 'digital gold' sloganizing a bit too literally.

Op invest in a real state if you love your money and are not greedy.

Can the stock market ever collapse?

Yes, just as it happened in 2008, however, the stock market as a whole would never go to zero (e.g. the S&P 500 will never go to zero), some individual stocks could of course collapse completely.

Bottom line is : You will always have 2 sides of it. 1 that is positive, 2 that's bad. Just as in an trend. So it's up to you to gamble on whatever you like, good or not ;)
Always read up things you are interesting of investing. Just try out what u want in small dosez first, if it works for you then it works for you. That's why we humans are unlike each other, we choose different :)

depends from how you look at it and how far you'll be willing to hold and wait. There are people who are saying that it's just bubble which anytime can explode while others believe that it will continue its existence and create much higher appreciations.

I remember people saying this in 2013.

***you didn't see the sarcasm :)... Thanks, anyways; People are sure to learn from your write up.

Despite whatever weaknesses it may have, it is still the STANDARD for crypto and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Bitcoin is encrypted and secure. Bitcoin as an investment tool provides investors with three significant advantages over traditional investments- liquidity, high market demand, minimalistic trading.

Bitcoin has worked for over 10 years now with rarely any security issues. I'd say the likelyhood of it collapsing is minimal.

You kids should stick to paypal.

The 2018 cryptocurrency crash was the sell-off of most cryptocurrencies from January 2018. By 26 November, bitcoin also fell by over 80% from its peak. It would not be fair to trust them completely.
