Can a parasite site really Rank ?

Did anyone of you tried to rank a parasite site, curious to know because my site aren't ranking well.
Not even on page 2
of course parasite sites rank, but you may have to send links to it.

it depends what you want to rank for; sometimes you may need 50 or more links from different domains; but they rank; and links take time to kick in anyway.some site don't rank after sending like 5-10 links with 15+ TF and mixed links from sources

Depends on competition and what parasite you're using.
If you use a typical parasite like facebook, yahoo answers etc., then your ranking will be a hit or miss case. You need to use less known parasites.

Para sites has much domain authorioty. You all need page authority ...you can incrasea fast seo values for para sites. It's imposible for competitive niches along with just web2.0s and gsa links. But for medium or lower competitons you can have a win win situation. I sell 40% profucts from organic traffic fan page. Don't give up . If you do effort it works.

Since it's a para-site, you don't need much care or worrying about de-indexing. (It has value of DR and it's author power).
Build some contextual backlinks. You can fully automated backlink building with tools like GSA search engine ranker or xrummer.
I would build contextual links, and low obl links braking captchas by xeveil(breaks recaptchas too) combing with gsa cb. Also i would mix with web2.0s (you can use serengines for that)
Will work for low competition niches. If you choose right one you still can rank without much troubles.

Well it depends on which parasite that you are using now. Previously web2.0 parasites were working fairly well, but apparently most search engines have already addressed this with various updates. Now, to search for parasites that can rank, you'll need to do this - submit your articles/links via a tool (I use GSA), and then after the links/articles are done, submit those to an instant link indexing service, and they should be able to get your article indexed within 24 hours (those that takes longer wouldn't be very good parasite). Do a Google search and you'll see a list of your sites ranking - those may be good samples of parasites that rank.
