I created this advertising site and i can not get any traffic ... My site is sort of a social networking site. HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU PROMOTE SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES. Please give me some suggestions on promoting it. It is not a blogging type of website .. which makes it harder for me!!!! ..

You find the market and then give them their needs.
You are creating a product and then looking for a market.

Find your traffic first and then create somewhere to send it.

Yup Oxon is correct but it's piss easy to promote a social sites, just promote on other social sites like Facebook.

A bit off the point... my son created a social networking site too. He succeeded.
But he never intended to compete with FB. He just wanted to see if he can recreate something that's so popular (and his creation was on a very small scale too with similar functionality).
Btw, he sleeps well every day (because from the start, he understood the worth of flying low with the real birds and not to compete with the jets).
Hoping that you're able to sell your site for a bomb at Flippa soon... GL!

Btw, if you wish to recreate the FB success, don't reinvent the FB wheel... go read this article, read, get ideas, and do accordingly. It's the shortcut to understand how FB began its journey >>

Slow and steady social engineering and remember that social converts very very low. I honestly believe that Social is more work that it is worth. I am sure many are doing ok with it but not something I would dare try.

Some suggestions.
One: Learn correct English. Nowhere in the English language is there instruction to use multiple exclamation marks. Your idea isn't brought across more powerfully, it is looked at as immature and spam.
Second: All capitals is seen as shouting. Also falls under the immature category. Why are you yelling at me?
Take a look at the forums. There are hundreds if not thousands of threads teaching about seo. SEO in part requires backlinks and the majority of this forum is in relation to that in some form. A social networking site must be attractive and have a reason to displace a forum, facebook and any other form of socializing that your target users would be currently using.
On top of it all, your site looks like a 12 year old made his first website. If you want to be taken seriously, you need to put money into getting a quality designed site or learn how to design something legit. If you're not willing to do this, give up now. You'll save yourself time and frustration because as your site is designed now, it's not going to get much traffic and the traffic you manage to get will have a higher bounce than Blake Griffin.

Oxonbeef is right. You dont create a product/service and think about who will purchase it. As you have created a site already, try to think who will get benefited from using your site. Or you can try to sell your site to big organizations by sending all the newsletters to CEO's. You can get the list very easily. You can promote your social networking site using different social networks.
