I am a casino software developer, and even though I'm not directly involved in operating a casino myself, and half my customers are free-play websites, I have found that it is almost impossible to buy advertising since I am 'promoting' illegal activities by selling poker, bingo software etc. And I have another site that is in the same boat, but that is a rental site that caters to free-play (points) based fun play only. Still I can't find anyone willing to let me buy PPC clicks.
Even more ridiculous is that Google Adwords "would" accept me if I provide them with proof of a gambling license. But I'm not a casino, so its impossible and pointless to get a gambling license (no license for software providers).
Anyway, if anyone knows of any places I can buy PPC traffic that DEFINITELY (not maybe) accept sites relating to gaming, that would be great. I see lists of 100+ PPC services and if I have to fill out long winded forms and send emails to each of them just to find out the answer is 'no' it will take me a month.
