Buying Pluing/Theme from 3rd Party Sites?

Hi,

My client wants one plugin which nearly cost 100 USD, but the same plugin is found on 3rd party sites for penny, say around 10/15 USD or less. This 3rd party sites don't provide Automatic Update or license or support. You have to manually download and upload the plugin.

They are legally selling it under GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE so its legal for them to sell it at such a low rate.

Can someone guide if we can purchase this and use it for our website or not ?

You can find them for free on other sites probably. (@Festinger ) You will not get a license and you will not be able to automatically update.
I highly suggest just to buy the theme.

Thanks for the reply and reference @Festinger I have found the plugin on his site which I want, I'll prefer to go ahead with someone from BHW rather then a stranger Thanks again for sharing this info.

Even if you buy and use this plugin, it may stop working after some time without updates. For example, when updating WordPress, some plugins also require updating.
