Buying new computer. Thoughts?

Funny. The guy that advised me on what components to buy also mentiones water cooling.

Ill be honest. In my primate mind, water and liquid DOES NOT go anyhere near technology and electricity.

What are you guys talking about? :D

You could save up your electricity bill for your water heater by installing a liquid cooling system on all 3 PCs and use a water bucket as your reservoir. :D

Thats a myth, a thing of the past.

Like it used to be German products are high quality and Chinese are shit. But today its not as true anymore.

I mean, probably intel is a lil better than amd, but all my other PCs have amd, and i think its fine. Plus i imagine intel would increase the bill, and i need to keep price low. After all, im not Bill Gates over heaaa :D

Liquid cooling has improved 5000% since it first came out. You can buy close circuit units now which practically have less to 0 chance of leaking or anything like that. Look into NZXT and other similar systems. Also they keep the CPU noticeably cooler than aircooled systems. Meaning you can push your CPU a bit higher in performance (overclocking or simply running heavier programs).

Have you checked into seeing if a server will offer more for the bots you're running? You can get good deals on R910's with 256GB of ram sometimes
 
Take definitely the Ryzen 3600. This series is pretty good.

dude get a mac the new Imac u can stuff 128 gigs of ram in that fucker and your still under 3k ish maybe around 2k if u go base model
 
How are the new Ryzen processors vs intel? I recently built a system around a I7-9700 and absolutely love it.
 
I've built a few computers recently for myself, friends & family.

Google PcPartPicker & you'll get the best prices from all the big retailers. Includes rebates & auto-fills coupon codes as well. It'll also tell if you things are compatible with the parts that you've chosen.

I always start with the CPU & motherboard before anything else to make sure everything is compatible.

I currently have Ryzen 7 1770X & I love it. I have 16gb of ram at 3200 mhz & a RX580 8GB GPU as well. My build is for PC Gaming mainly, with a sprinkle of Web Development but it's still dumb fast after ~2 years of owning it.

Goodluck with your build! I'd say it's 100% worth it over buying a prebuilt & 100% stay far away from aliexpress.

When i first started botting i was at a crossroads. Do i pay for monthly servers vps vpn whatever they are called, or do i buy machines and keep everything here.

I chose to buy machines. Because at the end of the day when its all said and done, i still have the computers. While with servers in the end i have nothing. The servers wluld cost me more anyway. Plus the hassle and slowdowns of connecting.

The way i have it now, every computer has a monitor, a keyboard and mouse, and whatever needs be done i just do it. I have full control!

The motherboard in my last computer was more expensive. This one asvised to me by a friend is only like $100 bucks.

I meant buying the server and using it at home, Datacenters and Companies sell their used servers in bulk every few years when they upgrade.

You're from the balkan states right? I would go for a better power supply and since I don't know what are you gonna use it, maybe buy a new graphics card as well.

When you say better power supply, better how? More Watts? Better brand?

I'm gonna use it... not for video or photo creation/editing, not for running any heavy graphics programs, and not for gaming... I'm gonna use it to open a bunch of Firefox browsers and visit websites with them, and even the images are disabled on all the browsers so they never even load on the various websites being visited.

I wish I knew if a better graphics card would help me any, but with the current knowledge I have about all this, a graphics card only serves my purposes to display the computer on the monitor, so I don't really need a good one.

But the motherboard I'm thinking of buying:

That's what I'm stuck on. Not sure if it's good enough or if I should go for a better one............. i don't even know what would make a better motherboard other than it being more expensive :smirk::anyway:
