Buying monetized YT channel - worth it?

Good day fellow BHWers!

Just getting my feet wet with YT. What's the best way to go about starting a faceless channel - starting it from scratch or buying an already monetized channel in the same niche? What are the advantages/disadvantages of both? And if buying a channel is the way to go, what is the best platform to buy it from?

Buying will aave you lot of time. The channel will already have good reach so you just have to upload content there.

Buying channels will speed you up. Opening a new channel and trying to grow it is more of a waste of time.

Both have pros and cons. Like if you start a new channel, it is not all bad only. You will learn the basics that way which will help in future.

It won't help you unless you know what you're doing (which most people don't). If you're completely new to YouTube I would just start with a brand new account. However if you have plenty of experience and know what's working and what isn't it can safe you money you'd lose by not being monetized.

It is hard to find a good deal. Suppose you jave a good channel that makes you money every month. Will you sell that channel ever ?

you can buy approved channels. and then upload your content.
people are preparing approved channels and then sell it for like 200 usd.
it may not be in your niche tho.

Literally zero experience. So I guess starting brand new is the best way to learn all ins and outs of YT. At the end of the day, getting 1000 organic subscribers shouldn't be hard and with decent content should be easily achieved. Thanks for your reply!

This is one of the reasons holding me back. Buying a channel in a niche different from mine doesn't seem like a good idea. YT algorithm already learned from the audience of that particular channel

if you buy established channels yes. but if the videos uploaded like 1-2 week ago and then bought 4000 hours watch time. then you can change it. i know many people do it like this.

those people shooting 1hour video then sent 4k views. like that. not so much views so its not a big deal i guess. people are buying this because they don't wanna wait 6-7 months to get approval. what if they can't get approval because of some other reasons like reused content or some shit after creating and posting for months.
its better to just spend mmoney and testing.
its your choice. i am thinking to buy it also. i cannot wait 6-7 months for watch hours.

Is the channel's subscriber count and view count growing or shrinking? A channel that is growing is more likely to generate revenue in the future. How much are you paying for the channel? Is the potential revenue from the channel worth the cost?

In my case, the main reason for buying the channel instead of creating a new one is not necessarily the amount of revenue the channel is currently generating, but rather the fact that I can avoid that waiting period for 1000 subs and 4000 watch hours to get monetized.

Yeah don't waste your money with buying a channel. Rather invest the money into a good editing course. Also really analyze your videos in your dashboard. They will show you what works and what doesn't.

Considering you don't have any experience buying a monetized channel won't do you any good.
These channels are good for people who are trying to make cash cow channels / spam them with content.
If you are working on a personal channel it would be better to work from the ground up and build a real batch of subscribers that will stay with you.

Getting a monetized channel yet only getting a couple hundred views per month doesn't make sense, rather invest that money on comfortability (Chair if you're a gamer etc')/new skills.
