Hi,
I have found some domains banned my chilling effects ( a website or authority) or google about 5 to 10 years ago. Those domain names are great and have huge search value? Is it wise to buy them? Will google re-index them? Actually I want to buy those domain for selling later after doing SEO.

Any expert here, please advice me.

OK, let me explain a bit more. If a domain is banned by google, the domain will not appear in google search with any terms (please correct me if I am wrong). But Surprisingly I have noticed that after a certain period, some of those previously banned domain (after few years) now appearing on google search results. So I am curious. Do you have any ideas on it?

If it has expired, you could buy it, add it to webmaster tools, and then ask for an inclusion request saying that it was the previous owner that got it banned...which would be easy to prove...might be a goer.

By filing a reconsideration request with the argument "new owner" you could have another drawback: Google could in theory devalue all links to your domain that (still)existed prior to you buying it (which did not help the previous owner either because he was delisted, obviously). I did not read about this case, but I do know that google values old links more then new ones, which means google logs the date when links got found, which makes it easy and low cpu intensive for google to manage links by timeframe for any reason - such as this.

So basically, in theory, if you buy an exact match banned domain and let google reconsider it the only value you will get from that domain is the exact match. Provided google unbans it. Maybe you will even have some sort of trust penalty and will be harder to rank. But thats just another theory that came to mind.

Good luck and keep us posted about your experiences!

I think if you ask Google to reconsider a side because of new owner you shouldn't have any problems. I am not voting as I am not sure about this

thanks for all those valuable thinking. First can you guys give me a way to check if a domain was banned or not Previously? I have owned some domain and I have found that 2 of them were hosted and then expired 7 years ago (one of them probably banned). Now After some little SEO I am getting good results for them. In this way I am really surprised. It could be a new era for capturing potential domains.
