Buying a tik tok account

I found someone who wants to sell their tik tok account and I’m debating whether or not it would be worth it. Does anyone have any experience with buying accounts? My main concern is that the account is in a different niche than mine would be, so I’d be worried their followers might not like my content and mess up the algorithm for my videos making them not do as well. They post a lot of edits that I feel like mostly younger girls would be watching (music, fashion stuff, etc) and I’ll be posting comedy & photography related content. The account has over 600k followers and good engagement from what I can see.

If anyone has any knowledge about something like that let me know.

Also, if I do end up going through with it whats a safe way to make the transaction without getting scammed? Idk if I trust just pay paling them since they could just take the money and run.

Nobody is 100% sure about the algorithm but I do think that a content change is dangerous for the algorithm because it works on a batch release basis.
