Buy Facebook likes?

Hello.
I'm in the process of creating a new page on Facebook and it's my first one so I don't have much experience with this.
I thought I could start by buying some likes to get it started.
Is it ok to buy Facebook likes from the various sites that sell them or it's against the ToS and I can get banned for it?
Are all the likes from bots or there are sites that sell legit ones?

I want the likes to come from my country since my page and site are directed to it.

I hope you could clear the picture for me.

I wouldn't recommend that if you are planning to grow the page. You will get shitty likes that are going to hurt your engagement in the long run. It would be better to start with Facebook ads and get real targeted likes that are going to be people that have a chance to engage with your page in the future. Be careful with the targeting and read about Facebook ads before you start using them. You can also buy shares from bigger pages with a lot of relevant and engaged fans.

Fake likes are dead weight that is going to decrease your reach.

Also, how many do I have to pay on average to get about 50 likes through ads? Is it certain I get likes from Facebook ads with every "campaign" or I can get nothing and still pay?

When using fb ads you can choose to pay per 1000 impressions or clicks.
Paying for clicks will get you a guaranteed number of them, but buying impressions could bring more clicks for the same price if your ad attracts a lot of attention.

By clicks you mean likes or just visits to my page?
And how much will I have to pay for 1000 clicks or impressions?

for starting , i think you should join a few groups(lots of members of course) related to your niche, post in your page viral content and share it to those groups.that helped me a lot

If you just want a vanity number of Likes to look "Big" or "Popular" then go for it. But if you really want to derive ANY business value from your Facebook Page, then STOP and better switch to doing other methods.

Facebook Contest "Like" Popups, Coupon "Like" Popups, and Facebook ads are the three most legit method in increasing Facebook likes that will bring in positive results to your Facebook page.

It's not recommended from my side because I have also purchased it but they are fake likes and didn't add any value to your page.
