Buy domain to redirect

I was thinking about buying a expired domain to redirect it to my money site.

The domain has no indexed pages anymore in Google but a lot of backlinks. Is this a problem?

shouldn't be hard to get it reindexed by google, unless of course it was deindexed for a particular reason against their terms.

I dont want it indexed but I want the overal juice to pass through.

I'm just curious if this is a good strategy.

You can do that, all the backlinks will transfer to the domain you are referring to

if you just want the link juice no need to reindex it. just 301 to the new domain.
