Don't feel bad. They banned some of my gigs for selling modified software based on the BSD license. They said the reason was that I do not work for Berkeley LOL. Real techies these guys are...

Fiverr loves the "secret" money center of riding the float. It holds money you've earned for 2 weeks before paying you. It holds your money hostage for 45 days in cases of a ban (as the OP found out). In addition to the $1 fee it gets per gig, it loves the interest it gets on all those held monies. You have to treat it like Paypal, that is withdraw your money as fast as you can, and don't build up huge balances.

I love fiverr but their support is shit - they literally don't care!

Never understood the concept. Why work for 4 bucks when you can make more in the end pushing your own sites?

True, think the idea is to get what ever your offering down to the very minimal effort whilst Getting loads of orders.

It is a good point though, for $4 revenue, you really can only spend like 10minutes on q gig - and that's including communication and everything.

Maybe the fact that I'm on fiverr is just a testament to the fact that I'm making f*** all elsewhere at the moment

People can't afford to purchase monthly hosting, and a domain? People are too lazy to learn how to do anything else? There are a ton of reasons.

I know don't worry! In my first month at bhw fiverr is the things that's brought me the most income so far hopefully in another month il be making more money somewhere else ay

fiverr i don't shit on so yea. i saw that 14 day payout and i was like............aw hell no. should be like 5-7 days, and it should depend on the niche too i think. or like....7 days unless user leaves positive then its instant payout

I never had any trouble with Fiverr and actually only have great things to say. One time I was in a hotly contested battle with a seller and Fiverr support was awesome. Fixed the issue within 24-48 hours, got my money back right away.

As a seller myself, 14 days sucks, but it's nice seeing the money accumulate as you wait.

I agree. On both points! lol. That's why I changed the payput waiting period on MultiTaskr from 14 days to 7. I honestly do not see any reason at all except to build a float. Fiverr is pocteing that money in a special interest bearing account I bet and making good money off other peoples hard work....I call that stealing, even if they do give it to you eventually. If things continue to go well I will try to lower it more, maybe 3-5 day. I have to give buyers enough time to come back if they got taken basically, but that's about it.

It would be nice to set up instant payouts based on positive feedback, but right now it's just a timer that hits paypal up when the timer hits zero. Super simple. Plus I see some buyers not paying attn and actually leaving negative feedback with a thumbs up or even trying to communicate with the seller about the project in the review form...that would be a problem.
