Here is a pic of my first Fish tank PC.

No this is not water. its white mineral oil.

Getting ready to build another one in a custom tank.

Dag! That's sick... How's the cooling in that thing? :P


This one was a test so its not a high powered system. Its running about 8% cooler.

The next system will be a gaming system. Which will put out more heat. We are going to set up a system to cycle the oil through a cooling system.

I am building a web site for the company that makes the oil and thought it would be fun to build one.
 
Wtf? I thought electronics get fucked under water? You could custom build sized cases and turn them into fish tanks and make $$$$$$

Even so, since its a liquid doesn't it cause an electric circuit or however you spell it ? :D

Well no if it the electric can't go trough it like rubber.

There is also this kind of "stuffing in many devices" atleast saw such in fire alarms.

White mineral oil does not conduct electricity in that it is a petroleum so there is no chance of short circuiting.

Pretty innovative idea, OP.
