Hi, I've been trying to build an email list but no one enters their email! In return for the viewer's email I am giving them a free ebook which is sent to them after they confirm their subscription. However I have ZERO subscribers and I've been trying for quite a while. What else can I do? Thanks
Maybe paid advertising would be a good route to start with. This way you would know whether your website does convert at all. It's quite common and logical to test the waters with paid traffic and later work on SEO if the website converts at all. Just my 0.001 ;-)

If you have been doing paid advertising, split testing your landing/squeeze page to
see what works is what you should be doing.
And if you say "I don't have a squeeze page to split test" then that's your issue.
Successful email marketers/list builders who are able to create huge email lists are
always split testing there landing pages to improve CTR and conversions rates.
