Hey everyone,

I’m working on a project to build a portfolio of local lead generation sites for services like fencing and gate installation. The goal is to rent out these sites to local contractors for recurring revenue, generating Google Business leads and email inquiries. I want the portfolio to be completely untraceable to me, so competitors, algorithms, or Google can’t link them back to my identity. My target is roughly $2,000–$2,500 per site per month.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

  • Privacy-first infrastructure: Tor + Mullvad VPN to mask my IP for all purchases and web activity.
  • Crypto washing: Moved funds from a KYC exchange to a fresh wallet, converted to Monero for private transactions.
  • Ledger purchased in cash: Securely stores crypto and will be used for anonymous domain/hosting purchases.
  • Domain & hosting prep: Planning to purchase domains through privacy-focused registrars and host through providers accepting crypto.
  • Lead routing: All sites ring to a CallRail number that forwards directly to the contractor’s personal cell phone, so I never handle the calls myself.
Current bottleneck: email verification

  • Njalla registrar requires verified emails. Free ProtonMail isn’t reliable for these emails.
  • ProtonMail doesn’t accept crypto for paid upgrades, so I can’t create multiple subaddresses needed for domain verification.
  • Exploring prepaid cards, other crypto-accepting email providers, or hybrid setups.
Future Steps / Enhancements:

  • Eventually, I’ll find a way to verify physical addresses, either by paying someone to record the verification or by temporarily renting then flying to the city and record the verification myself.
  • I also plan to purchase Google reviews to help the sites rank faster and increase trust with potential leads.
Challenges so far:

  • Balancing convenience with anonymity.
  • VPN/location masking sometimes gets detected.
  • Payment methods that link to identity are a no-go.
Focus & Future Goals:

  • Right now, the project is all about Google Business and email lead generation.
  • Once these sites are live and generating predictable leads, I plan to expand into private blog networks and other digital assets.
Questions for the community:

  • Does this even sound like a viable way to make money consistently?
  • Any suggestions for email providers that accept crypto and reliably work with registrars like Njalla?
  • How do you handle domain verification without revealing personal info?
  • Am I overcomplicating the setup?
  • What do you think of this approach as a method for building a private lead generation empire?
Would love honest feedback, suggestions, or warnings from folks who’ve done similar setups.

Thanks!

You're just overcomplicating it. You're running a lead generation site but your setup looks like a piracy site. It's better if you keep the setup simple and focus on promoting the site.

I love the crypto-washing step, most people forget that domain payments are still a big privacy leak
