Hi
/// Skip if you are just interested in journey ///
Most of my life I have spent struggling. I am not stating this to entice pity or sympathy, quite the contrary. I have never allowed myself to be outspoken due to the knowledge that I am but a drop in a sea of other struggling people in far worse conditions than I. Yet, today I feel it is still necessary for me to acknowledge, in order to move forward
I'm from a family that has our fair share of history with addiction, in fact I lost my mother to it, long before she actually ended passing as a result of her misuse. My father was absent the majority of my life (he shared similar patterns of addiction), and even with the people that took me in, I have always felt deeply alone, out of place, and deserving of nothing except that same misfortune I grew up observing and digesting every day
Due to my experiences with a life of everything this brought (crime, abuse, lack of security, neglect, etc.), I ended up being severely depressed and suicidal for many years, wasting away much of my teens and 20s awaiting that same fate of my parents until met my current partner. She has made me hopeful, sticking with me through all of the downsides and hard times. Now, I need to prove to myself that I can provide and deserve to experience some of the upside of what life can bring
I have no savings, nothing to inherit. I do have decent physical health, semi-satisfactory cognitive functions and acceptable work ethic and discipline
/// Journey - Prep ///
The official journey will start on July 1st.
VISION = "Build a living in 365 days / $100K"
I will be trying my hands at many different endeavours, primarily focused around automation, apps, software, startups, and much more. I do not want to limit myself. In short, anything goes!
PLAN = "Compounding revenue streams"
One crucial lesson I have learnt through working online the past years (especially during COVID), is to diversify and not put all of my eggs in one basket
Instead, I will build several (hopefully successful) revenue streams and either automate or outsource and needed manual labor it requires once set up, and continue to the next project
GOAL = "The ability to enjoy a life of sovereignty"
I want to enjoy and explore a life that I can be proud off and share the experiences with my partner. Also, being able to have a degree of excess capital to assist orphanages here would be a plus
This current week will be spent planning and preparing what particularly should be the focus of the coming weeks ahead and how to organize and optimize time efficiently. Likely, there will be overlapping projects and it will be paramount to keep things structured for the sake of overview, and as "bumpers" for when I inevitably have bouts of depression and need strict guidelines to keep the progression going
///
This was primarily written to hold myself accountable and as an active first step towards the right direction
If you have any ideas or suggestions for pursuits for this journey, feel more than welcome to share them!
If you are struggling out there, I hope you keep fighting to find your way too
