Building a business in a deadline, possible?

I know that to build a business you need both time and money, but can it be done within a limited time frame?

This is my situation. I really wamt to start a business within the IM world and I know exactly what to do, though the only problem is time (and maybe money).

So I have a little less than 2.5 months to make something good happen. I know it takes time to learn all about your business to make it happen, but can it be done within a timeframe?

In very short, my story is like this. I took a semester off of university to go 100% on IM, though it maybe a rough decision, i am still working on this. This semester is to proof my parents that IM is not some sort of scam but a real business. Though i have not been successful, i am willing to work on it but i would like some advice from business owners or successful people.

Of course the goal is to make money and i seriously think that about $400/m would do the job as thats the average salary down here in mexico. (Well it might be a little higher, but you get the idea).

So, what do you suggest i do? Keep grinding and hope to get 'there'?

Do you think that right now i should focus in creating churn and burn sites to reach the $400/m?

My only fear is that if i took action in creating an authority site is that it might take too long to see results money-wise.

I don't think it's wise to go for an authority site for this limited time as it takes time to create such a site that generates 400$/m. Maybe you can think about affiliate marketing? More cash in a shorter period if you play it well.

Exactly, that's what I've been thinking all this time.
I think that if I didn't have this time frame, I wouldn't worry at all about the money as I would be focusing on my authority sites.

Although setting a time limit is not really a good idea as it will simply add to your challenges, it is always possible to start earning online as there are quite a few things that can be done. Churn and burn may be the way to go, but it would depend upon your definition of it.

join cpa/ppd network -> look for atleast one niche -> create website(s) + youtube videos -> learn some seo -> rank your website + video = you will earn much more than $400 per month.

EDIT: And thats absolutely possible in 2.5 months!!

exactly start taking some action and forget about the time. If you flip a simple money maker site that makes $100 a month, you can easily get $500

Yea i know man, but i dont put that time frame, my parents do.
You see, i took a semester off, this means i had 6 months to go. Right now i am halfway and I think I should stick to my authority site rather than these ppd bs. (I mean, i hvent had a $100 month with ppd yet

OK guuys, lets keep it on topic.

I know Im not succeeding with ppd, but I am asking about whether or not to keep trying to bank with ppd or go out and build an athority site (which i alread have in mind) though I may not get to $400/m in 2.5 months.

I know many people are bankin with ppd, but I guess ppd is not for me as ive been for 6+ months trying with ppd

400$/Month can be done easily with CPA + Youtube. All you need is one niche making 14$/day or 10 niches each making 1.40$/day totaling to 14$/day. If you can't do it with one niche i am sure you can do it with 10 niches...All you need to do is rank the videos enough so it gets traffic...you don't need it to be at the top of the searches.

Well, to be honest that's what I've been doing for the last 1+ year or so. Sticking to it has been the toughest part as its not exactly motivating.

I think I will get this ppd site to top3 or get it penalized and then move to this authority site.

I will be blunt bro. Everything is possible but you are limiting yourself. I am going to give you a secret. Keep people focus on the target, avoid distractions, and you convert. Apply this principle to your life, on your main goal.

Sometimes is good to let others lead you, so you can get more knowledge. Everything is about knowledge. The more you know, the better. But, experience is the drama queen killer. The experience is what makes the difference. Some people don't know how to keep focus on how to run a business, witch in this case would be you as the marketer because they don't know how it feels to be the employee, they don't know how the business runs.

Is simple bro. You want a career in IM? Ok. Why? To make lots of money and live in a nice house and be worry free? What's the main reason? Once you have a reason, a good real reason (goal), ask yourself how can I get there? Build a path follow trough. Nothing works right from day 1, you gotta build it.
