Build up an audience.

With the internet being a great tool in ways of making money I've always wanted to build an audience. The targeted audience would be gaming of all sorts, I know that it's half/fully saturated with gaming streams,

videos, and etc. But what would be the correct move in trying to build up a consistent audience ?

Advertise a way to engage them through Twitch, other social media, gaming forums, etc.

The options are really endless when it comes to gaining an audience in the gaming field. I run a personal gaming blog which I do for fun. I find social media the easiest way, I use FaceBook and Twitter mostly. It also helps to make some friends who do similar blogs in other mediums. For example my brother has a YouTube channel that he does in his free time. So we direct traffic to each others media, you could do this with anyone. I'd contact small gaming YouTube channels (if its not your media) and see if the owners want to do the same thing. Or even collaborate on a game, so he does a YouTube video and you do a blog. Or whichever way you want it to go.
