do you think building links to our money site but cloaked in bitly, will that still pass link juice & still help our money site ranks?

Redirects reduce juice so not full amount.
 
It passes to some extent, but how much it helps in ranking, I dono
 
As advised it will help, but not much. You need to invest a lot links for more link juice. Instead you can focus creating a tier 1 high quality strong links.

its a 50/50 hit n miss , try it and let us know .
 
I checked that the link shortener works as well as getting a link from a powerful domain.
 
bit.ly urls rank for all sorts of things, there's over a billion urls indexed on that domain, though mainly spammy stuff like 'login' keywords. The issues you'll have are if your short url gets banned for any reason that's all your link building down the drain. You'll also be competing with any other site/user in your niche that is using a bit.ly url, as only a few results will be displayed per domain by default.

yeah, as he says there are many bitly spam URLs and other stuff so better if you will redirect with your secondary domain instead of a bitly

it depends on how much links and the quantity will effect on your link juice
