OTrap, when you mentioned buying lists, are they already targeted buying subscribers, or is it a bit hit and miss?

What sort of numbers does buying a list, say two thousand cost? This is just out of interest, I couldn't afford to buy one, and have no set campaign built yet anyway.

OP you could certainly do worse than take the advice given in this thread, the guys that are answering in this thread will be giving pearls.

It's VERY hit-or-miss. I've bought traffic a couple times. Found a good private provider that I'll use on occasion. He does mostly SEO with CB stuff, and since he doesn't do email, he just sells me his buyer leads. It's only about 2K per year, but they're good leads, and he doesn't use them.

The only decent provider I've used that was public was CE Media. Their leads converted, but they had high complaint rates.

Hey.

I just saw this.

As far as advice, here are a few points.

Know your source - only get it if the site is legit and current.
Get full contact details
Manually review your scrapped list. Pull out bad formatting, and stuff that looks fishy.
When possible, have it processed and cleaned for you.
Send your first email to the new list very slowly and without links and from a throwaway server
Move the cleaned list to a better server.

can you give us some few more details about your setup?

are you using a website?a blog?promoting cpa?clickbank?amazon?where did you get your trafic from?selling digital or physical product?
do you have aweber or malchimp acount? or you use a "suscribe to my blog/website" for to gather emails?

Damn, what's the problem with u people. Everything's possible and YOU get what u asked for, if you think there's no quick ways to get good results then shut d Fxxk UP and wait. I manage to get awesome results on my first 5 days with clickbank Duh..
 
I was thinking about the same thing. I have tried getting some advice on this, but no luck until I read this thread. Thanks and will try all the suggestions.
 
there a lot of method to get some lists from google, u must just have a good smtp !!!
