If money is tight what is the minimum recommended ad budget for testing campaigns on facebook?

If the money is tight and you are new to internet marketing, you should not do paid traffic

I normally do about $100 on a small test with facebook.

$10 per Adgroup.
Min 3 test ads - different Ad title, description text.
It really depends on your niche and target traffic.
I run over 10 Ad groups on AdWords, quite often.

Why go for paid ads with low budget? I do rather gamble with small budget.
