BST Sales Thread Bumping

I was about to start a thread in the same topic when i came across the new rule but i thought all will come across still many are unaware now this thread will drive all BST owners attention and make it clear. Now BST will be bit free for 3 days :D

I checked the updated rules, and I found out that there's a 72 hour waiting period now for consecutive posts (as opposed to before which was 24 hours). I've been gone for 2 months, and I am a service provider myself. So I just wanna ask if there's another rule that I'm missing out on? I don't wanna get ax'd. :p

Thanks! :)

Does that mean we can't reply to post on our BST and wait 72 hrs?

Nope.. It means that we can't post TODAY, then post again TOMORROW if there's no poster/s in between. So we can only post if someone asked a legitimate question or some other poster is asking something in our thread/confirming an order. That's what I understand from all this. :)

that means you can't post 2 times consq.. there should be a client's post in between..

Also sellers whose VIP membership has expired and wish to keep their BST thread must upgrade again? Someone who is making business would want to keep the thread and he shouldn't have a problem paying for the upgrade.

Still there are some seller bumping there thread .
dont know whether they are not aware or pretending that they are not aware of :O

I'd call bullshit on that, I mean those who are not aware of anything. Common sense tells me that any well regulated marketplace has rules for such. Anyone that has been around the internet for while is aware of the rule. I mean, do you really shamelessly keep pushing the thread to the top? You never think the competitors will be angry? What about the admin? He's not a clown as you realize, you can conclude that already by realizing how popular this forum is.

Also, if you're honest enough and provide quality then you have to never worry about the sales or any bumping. A few review packs here and there and you are guaranteed some asskicking reviews.

Very well said. I also notice that a lot of reviews will be bumped, converted, and quoted to super large fonts accompanied by a "thank you for the nice review".

I am having to see even the new rule being disregarded by a few. The one about consecutive posts within 72 hours. Should I report?

Thanks

Why you are hesitating in reporting em :P

I don't like to create problems, I think they are not aware of the new rule so...

I have even delete my question, but you quoted it. We're good anyway ha ha

If people don't want your service they won't buy it.

This goes for both excessive thread bumping and the Sticky threads. Seriously, I don't get why there are so many stickies there, I don't think it's fair to the other services. Did those guys pay extra or something? What am I missing?

Yes you have to pay for the stickies. You might have missed it. BHW generates the required revenue to run from advertising such as BST stickies and CPM ads.

Yeah, have to agree with this thread. Also makes me cringe when it's blatently obvious that it's the Service thread OP that replies with a new account and 1 post to answer the thread to bump it up.

How much time new rules will stick, I mean whats the next updates.. can you guys assume it? Btw, new rules are great i.e. seller should wait 72 hours to post a reply or anything.
