BST Sales Thread Bumping

Just a note. I know mods are really busy but I have seen a lot of Sales thread bumping.
Some sellers go " Open for more" - they never closed anyways, Just a way for bumping the thread.
Some announcements like special coupons is awesome but there are some that is clearly Sales Thread bumping.
If the BST owner wants to get customers that bad he/she can purchase a sticky.
I think BST rights should be temporarily suspended for Sales Thread bumpers.
Also can the report button used to report Legit sales thread bumps?

Sales thread bumping ismt allowed, if mods catch that BST owner can get vacation for some time.

Already new rule for BST announced by our super mod BB seller can't post in a period of 3 days consecutively if there is some replies to the thread he can answer else wait for 3 days and can bump once and to purchase sticky i think BST must meet certain qualifications not sure about that ??

Well, for what it's worth, I did CLOSE (technically), so I posted last night that I am open again.

But I agree, there are some who post non-stop. I got warned before, although mine was due to technical difficulties... Now I'm really careful and I just rarely post unless there are issues being raised by my customers.

BB already updated rules - so no need to change them further.
If you see such a behavior - report BST to mods and they will look in to it.

Yes I do report them when I see them.
On the threads above you can see some seller bumping on the same day.

seems to be many sellers did nt check the updated rules of bumping and after this thread I hope all BST sellers will check the new rule..

2nd offense results in a temp ban.

the entire marketplace is getting overhauled pretty soon. if you've got any interesting new ideas on how to handle bumping, that would be the thread to suggest them in.

Looking forward to the overhaul. Will be posting there if I get cool new ideas.
Since I do visit the BSTs often I will be keeping an eye out for rule breakers.

I think the new rule covers that. That the seller wont be able to post a coupon unless he is posting it 3 days apart. If he is posting daily I think that would be considered bumping.

If a MOD clear that , then it will be good

Making guesses will be useless

Thanks to the OP for posting an excellent thread which showcases an area of BHW where integrity and professionalism is an essential requirement ALL of BST offers...

The OP has accentuated a point that has been noted by the mods, and once again what stands out is how closely members and the mods work together to improve BHW...

i'd extend the 72 hour period to 1 week:
only 1 bump per week should be allowed, all other posts by the seller shouldn't bump the thread
let the seller decide if the post he's going to make should bump the thread or no
i'm pretty sure this can be done, it'd mean less work for the mods and a more clean BST

That would be to much imo.
Not everyone is on BHW every day - so people that work on certain days of week would miss some deals.
