I believe it's totally against the forum rule. They are claiming they got 100+ active account here. People are doing business by breaking the rules. Really feels bad to see this one.

The staff is looking into that as many people got that message.

Of course, any seller who gets caught doing that sort of thing is will lose their sales thread and possibly get banned as well so it would not make sense to take that chance.

You expect an about us page for such service site? I don't think reporting to Google will do anything. Reporting for what? Having multiple accounts at BHW? That's not an issue for Google.

Probably what @nichexposure said, they most likely scraped the BST threads. Though I have a BST here, but did not get an email sent to me... most likely because I put my email in an image.

I out-smarted them!

Sellers do display their e-mails on the BST often times. I haven't been messaged(never had a BST here), so I'd figure it's that or they requested samples sent to e-mails so they can collect them. People who received the e-mail should all speak up, so the mods could have an idea what's the common link.

Although this one appears to be new, I've had a fairly good inkling previously that there was a private group (or even groups) doing this already.
