Maybe the BST approval process could have the "priority" addon feature as it's done like on Flippa where you can add another +30 $ to the fee so that the service will be reviewed faster.

I'm not complaining, thank god for me personally the process have always been smooth.. But couple people recently complained that it took them many many weeks to get approved - So there is always this "chance" due to moderators huge amount of work in here.

Just a suggestion to consider, 30$ aint gonna break anyones back for a bit faster processing time.

All the best!

Moved to Forum Suggestions / Feedback. Sounds an option but this would only apply to the start of the review process. Reviewing a seo service that needs reports etc over a 14 day drip fed service still takes longer than an article being written.

Not a bad idea. I’m guessing though, that possibly the new marketplace, if it includes greater financial benefit to bhw (with the escrow service and percentage fee for example), will allow funding of additional resources to the marketplace and hopefully we’ll see improvements resulting from that.

Just increase the price to have a BST at all to 67$ and hire four more staff members, that should be a solution to everyone's satisfaction.

This is not a solution as I'm sure pricing is the not the problem at hand.

An issue I can see with this is if in the event that we start getting a bunch of people paying for priority reviews, that could cause the sellers who didn't get priority to have to wait much longer for a review, thus leading to the same complaints. For reference, we typically and currently review threads based on the order they're submitted in, so older threads automatically take priority over newer threads.

Keep in mind that there are a number of reasons a thread could take longer to review or longer to pick up. For example, a few of the most common reasons for a thread taking longer to review comes down to sellers either not reading the marketplace rules and content standards, sellers trying to argue to get a "special review", and/or the type of thread being one that takes longer to review (e.g., drip-feeding services)

On the flip side, threads may take longer to get picked up if they fall through the cracks. It's unfortunate, but sometimes threads do get missed in the queue, especially if a seller mistakenly posts in their own review thread (this make us marketplace mods think another marketplace mod picked it up).

If sellers want their reviews to go faster, they should read the marketplace rules, marketplace content standards, the general marketplace review process, and follow the instructions provided by the reviewing moderator.

more money=more staff=faster review rates
Raising the price and having more marketplace moderators reviewing threads might not be the best option. It's not easy to find people who can efficiently review marketplace threads and without proper training (which could take months), we could easily end up with 1-4 bad marketplace moderators who bottleneck everything and slow everything down for the rest of the marketplace moderators.
