Nice post, really down to earth, without the motivational stuff that some people rehash all the time.
I'd like to add : "money is in the list". If you have a big list of subscribers, you can always monetize it ! so even if you don't have a product to promote you can promote other's...

3. Yes, you could make internet riches with this BS, and your disciples would gladly pay you for public humiliation and whippings.

(That sindimatrix person wasn't the only one who pilfered this piece, either. I've even seen it on the torrents, ferkrisesakes.)
I would say something over at DP just to goof on the dude, but I originally signed up to that forum under my real name.
Back then I was such a newbie, I was a newbie at being a newbie. Anyway, I didn't really identify with the environment.
There's some great stuff over there, but there's also too much BS or sumpin'...

If it's been pilfered, and several times at that, it tells you it's hot! No one steals BS, unless it's really good BS... I suggest you purchase the domain for it as soon as yesterday, even if it isn't ready for sale as a product, it can at least be a freebie to registered members of a wp blog, monetize later... (so many ways, too many ways to post here).
Were you around when "The Rich Jerk" hit? This has a similar quality in salesmanship, maybe better as it doesn't insult me (the buyer/reader/etc) the way that did, but in terms of humor, language etc, it's good shit. Think about it, need a hand, lemme know.
