so basically commit fraud ........Sure robbing banks is lucrative IF you get away with it....

I have tpo laugh at somke of the web sites I come across. Clear scams...yet there they are selling over 100 $2,000+ courses...sadly it works!

stressfree,

Commit fraud?

What an interesting thing to say on a black hat site...

btw - What are you doing here?

:)

You can if you like. But not all BS is fraud.

BS is focus on the perceived value, not the real value. (Some call it copywriting... :) )

It's possible to deliver both at the same time. In fact, that's the best way.

And that's no BS.

This is hands done the best thread I have read on IM yet! I was in stiches laughing as you brought up each point.

Its so spot on target that its just hilarious. I think I will re read it once a month to engrave it in my mind!

Imagine if this thread was brought up in the warrior forums in that ridiculous 'Mind warriors' section lol
That whole area is filled with some of the highest grade BS you could ever find...now its just a matter of helping them
fullfill their epic journey of and I quote "sucess, power and self improvement"

Thanks again man!

OP you have really learnt all the psychological triggers havnt you? control the mind and you control your income ;).
you may not be a good IM'er but if your good with words the cash will just flow in

Not great with psychological triggers yet. And I'm still working on how to download physical dollars to my hard drive with a single mouse click.

But getting there.

Ya gotta get it right so you can get it right.

How's that for some BS?

:)

whoa.. i found this gold when i searched for 'public domain' totally inspired and worth so much more than pointless [GET]blablablah thread, especialy if you don't know how to use them.. LOL

Here is a cute little way to crank out massive amounts of unique BS quickly without copy-paste. It's a writing formula for mini-scale content. It's useful for forum and blog posts, the main points in your article body, and just about anywhere else you need some BS real quick.

I call it the BS Written Content Generator. There are two steps and it is usually one paragraph long. But it can go on forever if you want.

Step 1. Make a statement. Any old statement will do, but something intelligent is better. Opinions work really well, but factual statements work, too.

Step 2. Back the statement up. This does not mean prove it. It only means say something about what you just said. You can use supporting facts, statistics, tell a story, break it down in steps, say what others think about it, whatever. You only need a couple of sentences for some really good BS.

Then go on to your next point and do it all over again. That is, make a new statement, then back it up. Make a new statement, back it up. And so on.

Don't worry about niceties like connecting one idea to the other in the beginning. Just get into a flow. Later you can pepper in things like introductions, transitions, summaries, etc. if you like. Don't get me wrong. Transitions and the other niceties are cool. They're just not necessary. People will read your stuff regardless if it's halfway interesting.

Here are a few examples based on the above suggestions I made, all using the same opening statement:

Supporting facts:
1. Black Hat World is a great forum.
2. There is a lot of useful information on it about making money. It is newbie-friendly. The navigation is easy... (yada yada yada)

Statistics:
1. Black Hat World is a great forum.
2. The number of members is nnnnn. Alexa ranking is nnnnn. You will find it on page one of Google SERPS for the terms xxxxx, yyyyy and zzzzz, and on page two for terms aaaaa, bbbbb and ccccc. (yada yada yada)

Tell a story:
1. Black Hat World is a great forum.
2. I remember when I first showed up here... (yada yada yada),
OR
There was a time when the now-banned member, Douchebag, decided to... (yada yada yada), etc.

Break it down in steps:
1. Black Hat World is a great forum.
2. You first need to sign up. Then you can go to the Downloads section and get stuff for free. After that, look around at the methods people give you for making money and the discussions. They post the greatest stuff. Check out threads with lots of views and posts. (yada yada yada)

Say what others think about it:
1. Black Hat World is a great forum.
2. You should see what others are saying, and don't think it's all peace and love. For instance, there's a guy on Forum X who says... (yada yada yada)

I'm sure you can come up with some other kinds BS to back up what you say.

You can follow any of these examples with a new statement/backup on just about anything. Staying within the topic of forums or BHW would be better, but if you don't, that's cool. Talk about a sexy chick you met. How much money you made. The weather. Whatever. Some people are bound to read it.

Maybe I should call it the BS Two-Step...

:)

lol - "the BS Two-Step", I love it.

This thread stands the test of time.... interesting to see that nothing's changed in the years since it was started.

I think 90% of IM is based on this "BS your way to riches" mentality... couple with "ass-kissing" reviews/testimonials and voila... a godly product! :p

great post, still a great read, was very entertaining (and kinda useful)

OMG I just found this post. I already have plans of which guru to bs, not to mention I grew up on the beach and I actually know how to surf. MWUHAHAHA!!!!!

Awesome post and just as applicable today. :)

Reading this was an eye-opening experience.

I had always known about the existence of such marketing and I always see websites written in colorful all-caps. I always wondered how they made money.

Every technique you mentioned is so familiar to my eyes. Say it cost 200 bucks but for a limited time is only 30 bucks. Say you're against spam, etc. Every scammer website follows the same formula, layout, and look.

But now I actually know WHY so many of these websites have been popping onto the internet in the recent years... it is probably the fault of people like YOU! haha.

I know i'm a newbie at internet marketing but I did learn alot from this thread.

Thanks so much for this thread. I wish I would have found it a few months ago before falling for some of opportunities I have went for. Now that I know the truth, I can see the light and how I can finally start making some money at this....hopefully (I am still a beginner)...even after going through things like Renegade professionals and Magnetic Sponsoring. Thanks so much.
