Broken Backlink / at end

Hi,

I posted an article with a backlink to one inner page of my website and by some typing mistake the backlink generated with a slash at the end.

some-site.in/new-kitchen.html/

instead of pointing to

some-site.in/new-kitchen.html

Now the issue I am facing my G webmaster showing lots of broken backlinks for this issue.

I tried sorting the problem with .htaccess 301 but it doesnt make any difference or in another words 301 not working for "/" URL.

Also, that article website doesn't allow to edit the article

Any help in this matter.
