Brand new site - when to make backlinks?

Dear BHW members,

I just launched my new company, the site is completely optimized for SEO. Yesterday I submitted the site on webmaster tools with the sitemap, the website has 5 pages that needs to be indexed, now 2 pages are on Google search.

When do I start to buy/build backlinks? I also need specific .NL backlinks.

First start with some social promotions and focus on both .com links and.nl links

if the site was indexed you cans start to build links to the homepage first and after to the other pages
 
In the first month, create some backlinks. And then increase the number with time. You should also diversify the type of links for maximum effect.

Buying social media followers, like etc's is not good for SEO I suppose. What about running some ads? Will 10-50 likes on a post boost SEO as well or has it very small effect?
 
Wait for all the pages to get indexed and write your own articles keep sharing them to get natural traffic. Once you see some metrics improved in your site along with some traffic you can select keywords for building links.

I didn't mean like to buy followers, likes kind of that just do some posts and place some ads on social networks, likes don't convert many leads mate you are in starting stage so you have to try everything with patience then only you can get natural results

Starting with sharing the content on social media is the best thing to do initially. Do not bother about heavy link building so early. Get some more content on the site, for example 30 to 50 articles will be good, so that people will be interested to linking back to you. Nobody likes 5 pages site, right?

Once you have some good content on site, then start building 2-5 guest posts a month initially.

30-50 articles is too much. Is 10-20 okay as well? My site is not a blog but a service website, I have a blog as well but this many articles is just too much.

Yes, upto 20 is also a good thing. Idea here is if you have more content of good quality, more people will be inclined to link to you. But upto 20 articles is also fine.
 
You can start building as soon as the first month
Watch out for impressions in GSC to track search interest
 
First month branding links (GMB, Business profile pages etc.) and from the second month on you can continuously send some social signals and slowly start building quality backlinks. With the time send higher amounts of social signals and build more backlinks
 
1. you can start with social media acc to own brand searches (1 week)
2. buy citation building service 100-200 links for like $200 bucks (1-2 week)
3. hire a VA to compile a list of websites (1 week)
4. start outreach from VA compiled websites list (2 week)
5. negotiate. :) You will often be surprised how easy is to negotiate link price from $150-250 to $20-50 bucks. (2 week)
6. outsource article writing (2-3 week)
7. start building guest post directly to homepage (2-4 week)
8. build links directly to different money pages with exact/variation anchors. Only stop building links when you can’t see positive position movement. At that point start to diversify links. (week 3-4+)
 
I would recommend waiting a few weeks or a month after launching your website before building backlinks. Because search engines may not have fully indexed your site yet, building backlinks too soon could be seen as manipulative.
Rather then focusing on creating high-quality content and optimizing your website for search engine algorithms, once your website has been crawled and indexed by a search engine, you can begin building backlinks.

There is no fixed time for start building backlinks, but the link-building process must look natural.

Just start with Social media shares and then submissions, then slowly increase the number of backlinks through quality PBN, Guest posts, Niche edits, etc.

Link diversity is an important factor to keep the backlink profile as natural and strong.

You can start creating links once your site is Indexed

To generate Organic Traffic , you can create Guest Posts to your site ( At least have 3 to 5 days Gap to create next Guest Post)

Increase Your Authority with powerful PBNs Having High Domain Authority

Brand your site in all platforms like social Media

On- Page factors also plays an Important role to rank
 
In My opinion, Wait for all the pages to get indexed and the website has been crawled, write your own articles keep sharing content on social media to get natural traffic. Once you see some metrics improved in your site along with some traffic you can select keywords for building links. Once you have some good content on site, for example, 30 to 50 articles will be good, then start building 2-5 guest posts a month initially and diversify the type of links for maximum effect.
 
I think 5 pages is very less. You need to add more articles with proper internal linking and promote them on social medias. Also, target on long tail keywords which are easy to rank. After a month you can start sending the high quality links like guest posts, niche edits, relevant pbn links & drip feed them.
