Guys,

I've read that you should wait three weeks after the site is first started before blasting it w/ backlinks, and I've read that people hardly wait any time at all. How long do you wait before blasting?

i build backlinks in tiers lasting 5 days for a few cycles, then ramp it up to 4 days gradually bringing them in quicker and quicker with more links each tiem

I usually get the site indexed, and then start building slowly and organically. If you start with blasting 5000 backlinks first thing you do, you'll run a high risk of getting sandboxed. Start with a few, then increase every week.

if you're planning to create bulk backlinks to your site you can start blasting it right away. Because at first you're not ranking high with your website anyway so when it has aged a bit your site has backlinks already it can handle future blasts without any problems.

Define bulk backlinks?

What I'm looking to do is create many sustainable sites that generate a profit higher (and hopefully much higher) than the cost it takes to rank them. The issue is that you never really know how well a site will convert and generate revenue until the site is actually on the front page.

One of the things they're always talking about in business is the need to "fail more quickly," meaning finding out what doesn't work fast. If I need to wait three weeks before starting, and another month or so before a site is safely in the top ranks, that's a lot of time it takes before failure.

I can cut a lot of that time out by not giving a three week buffer before promoting a site.

Rankings don't come overnight. If this would be so easy everyone would be at the first page. One month is actually very short period when it comes to ranking. You can rank your site to first page in case this keyword has very low competiton.

If you have good enough lists you can create blasts every day also. Start like 1k blast a day and move to bigger blasts.

Also it's important to diversify your backlink sources (profiles, blog comments, web 2.0, social bookmarking etc).

Cheers

If you start blasting right away. You are going to get sandboxes. If you don't it will be h ard to move up in rank

I would recommend just going with the highest quality back links you can get for the first few months , if ydont care about getting sandboxes blast it up and then work on quality and diverse back links while sandboxed

Yes ..After 3 Weeks Start With Social Bookmarking.Like Digg, Reddit, Stumblupon

So that Your Website And all of Pages Are Indexed.

Then Go for Slow and Quality Link building..for New website Don't Go For Fast and More Link building method.

Just make Good Backlinks With Unique Articles submission(Article base, Ezinearticles,Goarticles) , Press Releases, social Bookmarking .

Thanks.

I don't know about others, but I normally blast my site after I complete my site immediately.

do manual web 2.0 links and then blast those instead its safer

Sure, that I know, but when I mean "blasting" I mean heavily promoting a site's backlinks. It would be something like

Unique content -> Posted to Web 2.0 -> AMR -> BMD -> XRumer to previous three -> SB blast. Pretty standard method.

Any sandbox issues?

Blast right away - but don't forget high quality back links !

You should be on page 1 in 3-4 weeks !

Thanks, will do. Thanks for your help everyone!

I just sent 200 linkpushes to a site that was not indexed yet and it is doing fine. Each push went to a different page.

Yeah, that seems extreme...

Anyway I'd start conservative. Plus know that you're hamstringed by google until your site gets to be at least 6 months old. Maybe a year... I forget.

I build a linkwheel from day 1 and it shoots me up to the first page within a week on low competition keywords

i do a direct 25k sb blast on the second day to let google know who's boss

One of the best posts I've seen yet on BHW. Thanks for the laugh :)

OP: I have a nasty habit of making my new sites drop down the SERPS like a rock in water. My common mistake: too many backlinks too soon. Too soon as in a couple days. I recommend at least a week or two before any pyramid stuff but a few high PR links or a press release is usually great.
