Hey,

I have been thinking about creating a new service that solves a major pain point for most online businesses. Which is online reputation management, by notifying and reacting professionally to negative comments on Yelp, Google +, Facebook, Tripadvisor (hotels) etc.

I have done some research on what companies do right now but I would love to hear peoples input in the forum.

Here are some questions I have:

1. Is it profitable, can you offer this service for hundreds of dollars per month or is it cheaper like 49$ per month?

2. How do you find clients to sell this service too? (I thought about looking at companies with existing bad reviews and giving them a call)

3. With fake online reviews being illegal, what beneficial services could a brand manager provide?

Please comment and if you don't have any experience with this, write about what you think about brand management!

You have to consider the fact that most consultants here and other places are catering to local businesses who probably don't receive a huge volume of complaints every month to make that service be worth it (or any complaints at all).

When it comes to brand management, most people are concerned with claiming the full front page for their brand name.

Yea you are right, I called a few of the nationwide brand management agencies

What they offer is basically making the 1st page of Google look like all positive comments/awards/press

None of the agencies post or publish positive reviews for you
