I contacted them yesterday but they only replied back today.
They told me that they had changed the servers of my hosting account and the old nameserver has changed to a new one. So i need to change the nameservers and wait for another 48 hours.

And https://www.whatsmydns.net shows that its been updated to most of the DNS. Waiting for full propagation

Yea in some cases it can take up to 24hrs for the dns propagation to be complete.

I can help you if you can PM me your domain name. However, the best you can do is, leaving hostgator and never look back. Run!
Also, it could be an DNS issue it can take up to 24 hours.

Fixed it. It was a problem with the DNS of my ISP, used google DNS server. Its alright now.
